BEING-ORIENTED THERAPY
ENERGY TREATMENT, SOUL CONNECTION, SHIATSU
Neither method nor strategy, but a principle: What isolates suffers, what connects reconciles and heals. It is therefore a matter of reconciling with oneself. Not with an imaginary and abstract self, but reconciling with one’s body, sensations, thoughts, emotions, desires, life…
And what awaits us is none other than ourselves, the greater self that awaits us deep within. The one that has always been there, that cannot not be.
And the discovery that trials push us towards it, our being, our true aspiration, behind all our aspirations. Trials, illnesses, losses of all kinds inexorably push us towards what has never been lost.
We must walk the path to realize that there never was a path. We must search to realize that it is the search itself that was blocking our view. So there was never any mistake: our mistakes, which cause us so much trouble, are the ones that open our eyes.
I invite you on this journey that has never been one. I will accompany you part of the way, until you can see that from the beginning, it is your innermost being that has always accompanied you.

Socratic dialogues that help you discover your own truth.
Energy treatments: Returning to bodily sensations provides reliable support for learning to observe and understand yourself, without getting too caught up in the stories your mind tells you.
Shiatsu: This was my foundation and my training as a therapist and energy practitioner. One of its great qualities is that it is based on traditional knowledge dating back thousands of years, which prevents it from falling into the trap of New Age delusions. My sessions are conducted in person or remotely.
REIMBURSEMENT
Reimbursements/Insurance
SHIATSU sessions are partially reimbursed by Dutch insurance companies if you have selected an additional option (e.g., a star). Please inform your insurance company that I am a member of the Dutch Shiatsu Therapists Association (SVN).
You are reimbursed from the first session: As an alternative therapy, shiatsu is not subject to a deductible.
Note: Other service than shiatsu are not reimbursed

The SVN represents our shiatsu therapists and, in collaboration with the RBCZ, ensures that rules are in place so that our care is as optimal and responsible as possible and eligible for (partial) reimbursement by health insurance companies.
Every year, I regularly attend advanced training courses in shiatsu, Eastern and Western medicine.
I also participate in intervision sessions with my colleagues.

This means that my practice of iokai shiatsu is officially recognized by health insurance companies and the tax authorities. The practice fully complies with the requirements set by the Wkkgz (Healthcare Quality, Complaints, and Disputes Act).
